Just want to say thanks...

I have learned so much reading through this discussion board over the last week. You guys rule.

I had been all set to go the pressure washer route (for roof cleaning) before I found this and was shown the light. Lucky timing, I very nearly put a Landa on my credit card!

Starting my roof cleaning business as soon as I can get the equipment in my hands. I'll be ordering the right stuff Monday.

Just want to say thank you to all of you. Wishing you all continued success.

Thanks for the advice. While I do plan to add a pressure system and surface cleaner to my equipment, I was thinking I'd make roof cleaning, and marketing roof cleaning my focus - at least initially. I plan to rent high pressure equipment as needed until buying it is justified.

Do you guys do a lot of house and driveway/walkway washing with your roof cleaning? Most jobs? Half? 1/4? I guess it is probably different for different regions anyway + how much you go after that kind of work?

More" Just want to say thanks".

I want to say "THANKS!" to Chris and Al of Arkansas Roof Renew. Chris reads the threads on RCIA everyday and encouraged me to do the same. I traveled a several hundred miles to spend a couple of days with them to 'train'. They were so willing to share and help out because of 'all the help and knowledge they have gotten from RCIA'>

So, Al and Chris....and all that contribute to RCIA, "THANKS!".

See you in Tampa.

I do it all.  Houses, concrete, wood restoration.  It all pays.
I wash mostly houses, roofs and driveways second, and wood last.

Staining wood pays the least but I take what I can get in NC because of the slower winter months.

Chris Tucker with Apple Roof Cleaning can clean roofs year round.  He's the only one in the whole country that I know of that can.

You may be an exception, but for the rest of us, you'll definitely want to diversify yourself and add more services to your business to stay busy.

The more you rent your equipment thats money you could put down on one. What I did got a cheap waher to start with a throw away if you will. Bought a non pressure setup and sold my 24 ft trailer. I did a couple jobs starting at a couple car dealerships and roof jobs. In less than 30 days I bought a nice washer, and the rest is history. roof cleaning
