Yep, and to think they want to increase postage again??? Around here the city will nail you along with the post office..........I've noticed that the local Academy sports place is just tossing the ads, kinda like the newspaper to avoid paying the postage.

I have been told it was a stiff penalty to tamper with someones mailbox and you certainly don't open one.
The people sticking tape to the box don't care if the tape pulls the paint from the box. These same people don't carry insurance or license. They just want to run under the radar and Lowball. That being said if you want to advertise that way it seems you can without penalty. I choose not to because I should not open someones personal property and I know how it makes me feel.

You live in a deed restricted community, and may need my safe roof cleaning service someday, so keep my card, and call me for a free demonstration to see what your roof can look like"  Then you SHUT UP, and I mean STFU!

One out of every 4 people get curious about the free demonstration, so then you say "Ok, that roof is pretty filthy, I don't know if it will clean, let's see" and then shoot a spot real quick. Act suprised when it cleans, hand them your card, then start to leave!

Do  not start selling, let them come to you, you have them now! Even walk away, knowing they will call you back soon. Remember, you TOLD them you were not selling anything. Do not make a liar out of yourself, and start being the salesman you told them you were not! Everyone HATES salesmen, and you are not one. You are simply the hard working roof cleaner servicing their neighborhood, nothing more, nothing less!

My brother is an air conditioning contractor in brandon florida. He sends out what LOOK like A/C Service tech's on sales calls, in blue collar attire with tools. These are deadly salespeople, because they don't LOOK like salespeople. Is anyone "getting it" yet ?

They are what is called "SID'S" or Salesmen in Disguise.

Im not a low baller and I have insurance and run a business that is growing like a weed. I pay my guys to go out and put postcards in paper boxes. I think by you saying that all peple that do that are low ballers with no insurance if pretty silly now don't you think? Sometimes I even stop when I see a home owner out and introduce my self and tell them about our services. What does that make me....a stalker? Don't think so.
