Why not power wash a roof.

Very true story. Last week gave a estimate to clean a roof. But since I didn't want to wash their deck they went with the other guy. Since the home owner knew that I was a conntractor as well they called me to fix the leaks in their roof they didn't have before.

Here is a picture I took once I got ontop of the roof. The home owner cleaned the gutters just the wek before. And what the they said there clean as can be.

That is exactly what any home owner will get if they hire anyone who does not use our non-pressure method. What you ask? A gutter full of shingle grit and a replacement roof on the to do list.

Power washing will not cause shingle granules to come off the roof because the pressure is not high enough.  Pressure washing will because that is a much higher pressure.  Power washing is the injection of chemicals into the output hose of a pressure washer.  It has the same pressure as a garden hose as the tips are usually a 2560 or 2550.

 Many guys in the PW world use pressure washing pumps to apply chems and rinse buildings.

Down Streaming is age old.

I do not defend idiots that Blast roofs, pW machines can be used safely. You just have to be a bit smarter than average bear.

Lots of guys use a ball valve and PW to wash homes.

Down Streamer from Water cannon are around 12 dollars, they are not the super suds sucker but will work for awhile with most house wash recipes.
