NO RAIN!!!!!!

We have done a few roofs over the past week or so , we have been waiting for rain to come but it's only sprinkled alittle no heavy rain or even a nice steady rain. Will the roof come clean once it rains say 2 weeks from now or should we rinse??confuse What would be a good rule of thumb ?

Let it go. The rain will reactivate the surfactant (soap) that you used and will lift all the dead mold, algae and pollution from the Roof and will rinse it Clean.

Not sure why you guys have to worry about the rain rinsing the roof. Instances that you have visible dead algae should be veeery rare. 99% of the roofs we clean are 100% clean when we leave. Only ever so often do we have a situation where we need the rain to make it look better.

The only other instance is when we use too much soap and it leaves a dull film.

Moss puffs should be stringy and gushy with only a few real "puffs" left here and there that may take a while to come off. For the most part they should melt away

You can rinse them off but give it a week or 2. Let them release from the roots so you don't pull them off the shingles.

Here are 3 different pics of 3 different stages of moss decay.

Some may take months to come off on their own

Was wondering the same thing. We have some real puffy homes here and I've been a little reluctant to approach them due to the rinse protocol. Thanks!
