I dont have it yet. As everyone knows its a hard sell round this way. I'm meeting the one in charge tomorow at 1 oclock. They have already replaced 1/3 of the roof! I'm pretty sure I can make the rest of the roof, which is black, look the same as the new shingles. Its a hugggeeee building. Chit 800 feet long, maybe, 150 feet wide? A VFW buildg. So this going to be a discounted price. Like the church thing. Maybe I can blow it up! Uhhh... Some how get some news coverage of it? Chit do it for free! I dropped the card off today. Meeting her tomorow. UUUggg!!!

Any and all suggestions welcome! Have to have my game ready at 1 tomorow. Thanx! I'll let ya know how it goes!

I feel your pain. a commercial building just got the lower section on there roof done to match the upper section. the upper section has algae, moss, and bird crap. I am going to approach them on Monday and say nice new roof would you like the older one to mach it now. not sure if I should charge normal price or discount. I mean its right in town and lots of people will see what I can do. hmmmm. free or discount or regular price?????

roof cleaningI like the fact that I am stressing about how much cash I am going to make not if I broke even. if I only do ten roofs a month at 300 dollars I am still like 1500 more than the last 12 months. The cool part is I have already done 7 jobs in two wks. life is good.

Don't ever tell the customer that you can make the the old roof look like the new section. Tell them you can clean it,...but thats it. The older section will have granule loss and will have a slightly darker look due to more asphalt being exposed.

Also,..shingles manufactured years ago may not be an exact match to the new shingles,...even when they were new.
