here is an after pic of a roof we did yesterday.  Sorry for no before pic reason being you cant even tell the difference it wasn't that dirty. But the customer wanted it cleaned and we got a house wash as well

Did you cover others too or just water.

thanks for the compliment but we didn't cover any plants at all. I have a water hose that i connect to the home and it then goes to a splitter you can get at walmart with 4 hoses leading out of it and i connect a 5ft 10ft 15ft and 20ft hose to each of the four with a sprinkler on each one. i set that up as soon as i get to the job so it
pre wets for me as we go. Then my water guy just waters like crazy

Do you recomend heavy tarps or light plastic?  Why so?

When i do cover plants i just use the painters tarps from home depot. Those big blue heavy tarps let water through

Dave, what mil thickness painters tarps do you use?  I would have thought that painters tarps would have been more prone to leaks due to punctures.

I think all they have is .31 mil but i only use them if there a delicate plants up close, and then when done i rinse those plants as well. Usually i don't use them but always have them with me
