These low baller, fly by nights are killing me! I know they will always be out there, but I am fed up!
I am about to go out and pull some drive shafts!
I bid a job at a reasonable price and got low balled by half!
Here's the deal.....If there is anyone here who works in my area, please dont low ball! Your killing the profit margin you could be making!!
If you bid a roof at 165 and you could have gotten it for 350 why wouldnt you? If you are afraid you wont land the job because of the compitition....call me....I will come out and over bid! It is worth it to me, and you could double your $$. If your afraid of the compitition.....beware....
I am sure all the low ballers out there will eventually make this market just like pressure washing.......low ball city!
I use to get 150-250 to wash a 2000 sq ft home....now with all the low ballers, it now goes for 49.95 and some idiots are charging 39.95!
Now I thow in a house wash with a roof cleaning...Think of all the money we COULD make if everyone used standardized pricing.
I know I sound like a lil Bit%h but good lord!
Low Ball Inc. Roof Cleaning 165.00 House wash 39.95 Total cost $204.95
My Price Roof Cleaning 350.00 House wash FREE Total cost $350.00
$350.00 -$204.95 ------------ +$145.05
Now I just made $145 more than you...(or you could have made) The Price of putting a low baller out of business just got a lil cheaper! It's now free...
So, long story short.......
No more low ballers in my area.....I am watching you!
No one likes low ballers, and they do not last in the roof cleaning business very long. They are like idiots who dont know how to fish. The come on the fishing pier, and throw 3 ounce sinkers in water that only needs 1/2 ounce, scare all the fish away, ruin it for everyone. They soon leave in frustration. Do quality work, and charge accordingly, ignore the low ballers. You will lose a roof cleaning job to them here and there, but you dont want a cheap azz customer anyway!
Im thinking on getting with the local paper to do a story on "Certified Roof Cleaning Comps" in the area and make a huge note on liability and non certified cleaners on roofs...Of course if there are any Certified cleaners in the area, I would ask that they meet with me and help "Sell" the story to the paper..
Kinda scare the customer to make the right choice when getting their roofs cleaned......well maybe scare was the wrong word....."Educate"
