i do agree on safety. im saying this here so every one is happy. but come one, ive ripped roofs off and shingled them siting on the foam from a couch cushion cause the pitch was to high and i was 18. i agree that this form is here to help promote good biz and safety. especially with new pepole.
but some guys take it to far. im gonna get my daughter to show me how to do video and post it .then when i get the go ahead on the mariot hotel (whitch is over 60ft) and then im going to throw a rope around the vent stack and repell down from the mother fer roof cleaning

Iee crockie mate! Are we a little "over the edge" with that one?

What point are you going with on this one? Dont take this the wrong or rude way, but dont be one of those idiots that get killed trying to prove a stupid point. That and the fact that your lil girl will be filming her daddys death! I mean come on!

Saftey is out there to use. If you decide not to use it when your cleaning roofs and you (god forbid) die from a fall or a slip...there will be a guy in the area cleaning your new customers making your money.

Common sense is the 1st point in saftey....lets start there.

I am certified to gaff climb, i thought i was king crap til i had a kick out and i ate 28' of a pole. Had to remove splinters for honestly about 4 days.

Think about it.

i know what youre saying. and i do agree but ive been ahh whats the point. just that im haveing a hard time with the transition from tree removal to holding a hose

Make sure you always know where the hose is, it will roll out from under your feet and put your butt on the roof quick! I know about that one. hahahahaha

There are other anchor points that you can use like running long ropes from one side of the building to the other anchoring to trees or other large non-moving things.

You could anchor to the bumper of your truck but keep the keys with you so nobody moves it.
