We received a call today from a home owner who wanted us to look at his roof.  He stated that it had black stains and it looked like the shingles had lifted.  We went and looked at it and from the ground it looked like just another dirty roof.  When we climbed up and looked at it we noticed that Lichen has actually lifted some of the shingles.  We went ahead and cleaned it and I believe after the next hot day the lifted shingles will lay back down.  The lichen had actually lifted the shingles.  This is the second house this week that we've seen this.  It actually started raining towards the end of the job.  I will post the after pictures tomorrow.
