Hello Mike, the low cost small business websites Don has would be ideal for someone like you targeting multiple cities to work in.
Here is why. They feature BOTH static and blog pages, all in one! IOW, you can set the main pages to be static, even with rotating before and after roof cleaning pics, and set other pages to be a blog that targets every crook and cranny of North Carolina, LOL
His web sites are like a race car, as far as SEO goes, designed to kick azz, take names.
The Word Press System they are based on is like the old small block chevvy was, in that they are the high performance standard, with zillions of cool stuff being developed for them by millions of developers. I THINK if you already have a Blog, you can import it into these web sites too!
Just tell it what you want to do, and it will suck blog posts from existing Blogger or Wordpress Blogs right into it!

That was a very good read. I was wondering if there was a way to sign up and post it here like on your web site/blog ?
I think my guys need to read it.

My web guys added a blog to my site last year but my site is Joomla and the blog I don't think is wordpress, just Joomla.

Is there a huge difference between having the blog on my site with Joomla vs. Wordpress?

I would like to keep my existing site and keep the customers there with the blog instead of leaving to see a blog at wordpress.

Hi Chris,

I don't think the platform matters as much, as long as you have a blog or some easy way to publish fresh content to your site, and the title tags, meta description and header tags are set up properly by default on your new pages.

I just want to clear up a mis-conception though; WordPress can easily be integrated into an existing website, you don't need to send people to a separate blog. There are two ways to get a WordPress Blog:

1) Sign up on WordPress.com - Better for hobbyist, non-commercial use

2) Host it yourself (also referred to as WordPress.org) - Better for businesses because you have complete control, can integrate into your website, can advertise, etc.
