Is it a heavy hose Chris? I mean at the end to roll up and lug around?
NOT at all It is a freaking pleasure to use it! A dry roll of it is actually lighter then an equal roll of 1/2 garden hose! There is no comparason as far as flow goes, this hose drenches plants, and drenches em fast. No, it will not hold up to the chlorine, already tried it! Here is a pic of it on an old truck.
I never realize there was a big difference in regular garden hose, Thanks for the heads up!
I like the green one!
They make different colors too! The water coming out of these is incredible. Most simply don't believe what a difference hose diameter makes, especially in a low pressure situation like a roof cleaning pump, or a house spicket. Firemen don't use huge hoses just to be Macho.
The mean green is defiantly a lot liter then most hoses this is what i found at home depot http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5/R-100064124/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 and at 75 feet it weighs 18.8 pnds and the mean green at 100 ft is only around 17 pounds hmm does the mean green come in 50 foot sections that would only be around 8.5 pounds.

im gonna upgrade to a 3/4 hose for my plant spraying any upgraded garden hose spray nozzles you recommend chris?
Chris, 1 inch hose is even better, we just did not have enough room on our trucks for it. This hose is light, and incredibly strong. We like Fire Hose Type Nozzles Chris, they can drench AND allow you to stand back on a windy day and shoot the plants too!
But water nozzles depend a lot on the local water pressure.
Wells are notoriusly low about water pressure, that makes BIG water hose even more important, to preserve what little pressure you have left!
I used to use 1 inch water hose, me Personally, but you must remember Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa is not me in a Trcuk. We are a real roof cleaning company, with 2 full time trucks runing the streets of Tampa.
The 1 inch hose got "ooohs and aahss" from our custmers when we drug it cross their grass. Makes you LOOK professional, IMHO!
When you start watering their plants with an ordinary garden hose, they have a tendency to think, "Chit, I could have done that"
They see the big 3/4 or 1 inch hose, it makes you LOOK good
maybe a nozzle like this http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/NTEProdinfo?productId=200356539&prnbr=55016&storeId=6970&catalogId=4006970&langId=-1

Mean Green is a Mean Machine! If you don't have one, go get one now! The flow is awesome, and 75 ft. of 3/4 hose weighs around 6 lbs! It should be in every roof cleaner's arsenal.
maybe a nozzle like this http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/NTEProdinfo?productId=200356539&prnbr=55016&storeId=6970&catalogId=4006970&langId=-1
One should always have a few nozzles around, for any water pressure situation you encounter. Big Lots used to sell plastic small fire hose nozzles for 7 bucks each. Often times, especially on low water pressure houses, the smaller nozzles are sometimes better.
Chris, I dont like these lever type fire hose nozzles. The water hose always winds up in the grass, you pull it, and the lever bends as it snags. In the best case, your azz gets wet, most times it ruins the nozzle.
