I have my choice narrowed down to three different designs, for my new 3 foot x 5 foot vinyl banner.
I am leaning towards SIGN #2.
I think it communicates the strongest message.
SAVE THOUSANDS IN REPLACEMENT COSTS is one of the goals I am trying to teach customers, by using a SAFE ROOF CLEANING. Too many people are spending unnecessary amounts of money on a roof that does not need replacing, simply because it has streaks on it.
People are stupid and may not have a clue, "What's eating my roof ?" means and don't know that mold causes the streaks. What works in Florida may not work in NC. Roof cleaning in NC is not as established yet, as much as Florida is.
Cast your vote please, thank you.

I like #2 but I would just have " ROOF CLEANING " on top. Because it states it quickly and simply. Once you hook them you can always inform them how safe it is. Like the yellow to catch the eye.
I voted for #3 because I have knowledge the largest roof cleaning company the world has EVER known used that slogan to get that way(44 Trucks - Mallard Systems Orlando Florida) The "save thousands in replacement costs" says to me" this guy wants to sell me roof cleaning for no reason, nothing is wrong with my roof, so what it is dirty, so are my neighbors" But the "whats eating my roof" makes me stop and think, "IS something chowing down on my roof, and can I prolong roof life by cleaning it". " Maybe this guy aint a jerk after all "

A Question asked makes you think.
Thanks Chris, I thought you might say that.
AC Lockyer's success is impossible to deny. I remember reading on his website they made over $1.4 million in 1998.
I still like #2 the best, but since you, Dave, and AC use it and recommend it, I'll order them both.

Thay were my Competitors Mike, but always my friends too! They had teams of salesman out flyering 1/2 of Tampa with THAT flyer headline. It really belongs to AC, but he was nice enough to say it was OK to use it. North Carolina may be different ? Season is close for you Buddy. Hope it is a good one!
Well I dont own Mallard Systems anymore. However Im good with whatever helps awareness and moves the industry forward.
On your sign.....observe the 55 MPH rule. Otherwords can you read it at 55 MPH or in a neighborhood at 25. Watch the way the colors cancel out the words and the image. People know what a clean roof looks like! You only need 3 things on a yard sign.
1. What you did. 2. Who you are. 3. How to reach you.
Here is a pic of the last Mallard yard sign I designed.

people might know what a clean roof looks like in Flordia ... but here in missouri people dont even know you can get your roof cleaned... so a picture helps..IMHO

Nice sign Mike! I don't think I have seen a better set of before and after photos. If that doesn't get you work, I will be SHOCKED!

Thanks Brian, it has! I'm proud of the photos.
They are my most dramatic before and afters to date, and the roof is the most hideous, neglected, oldest roof I have cleaned.
It was 20+ years old, took 80 gallons of chemical, and three coats to come clean.
It was a while before I was able to take the best possible after picture.
When I finished cleaning the roof back in 10/08 it was getting dark and about to rain, so I waited to take the after pic. I didn't take the after pic until 11/08 as you can tell from the color of the leaves. It didn't come out as good as I'd like, the sun was too low in the sky and the funky tree shadows covering the roof made it a less desirable photograph.
I finally had time to retake it on a sunny day this past April.
It still looks brand new and at exactly 1:09pm 4/22/2010 was when the sun was at the exact angle I wanted to avoid any tree shadows covering the roof, I took the shot.
The only "improvement" I can think of for the sign is Some BBQ Sauce dripping down the EATING Letters, but wait. You guys up in North Carolina put Vinegar on your BBQ, so maybe make the letter G in EATING a sour face ? Seriously, it is a great sign Mike
