Sorry buddy, she took out the steaks too late, they frozen!
Had to make emergency run to get some fresh steaks and Potatoes and Asparagus!!
Is there any way you can post BOTH signs in same post ?
I am leaning to the last one, but hard to see them side by side scrolling down.
The headline really JUMPS out on this last one.
Hey, if ya get a chance, go into the decal thread, ok ?
We are getting decals printed up by Toledo Roof Cleaning!
We are voting on 3 decal logo's.
The problem is this, on our official logo, the CERTIFIED is too small for a Decal.

I posted on the Decal thread.  There shouldn't even be another vote.

It was decided almost a year ago!

All we have to do is make the CERTIFIED bigger, no big deal.

Here's the two signs in the same post.

Mike,
I personally think that the white shingle is a much more dramatic change. It really stands out on a sign that you are using to catch people's attention.

This is the one that I am going to use on my ValPak mailer this year. I'm using the half clean roof so that I don't have to use a before and after picture. You know how the space is limited on those mailer coupons.

Thanks Brian. I'll have to shoot another after picture, the tree shadows kinda erks me.

One story, steep, white roofs always make for the most dramatic before and after photographs, providing you get the lighting just right and use a step ladder to get a higher camera angle.

Cloudy (dark and hideous) for the before pics

High Noon (bright and sunny) for the after pics.

That's a good picture. Only thing I would do is crop the white sky down to the tree line, keeping your attention more on the roof.

I also renamed your file to The Roof Cleaners, Oxford PA.

This will help your picture get found on google.

Like this.

Thanks for the tip Mike. I going to start working on the layout for the mailer this week. I'll fiddle with the picture some and post it to get some feedback.

I have been so lazy about naming my pictures that way. I need to go through all of my pictures and rename them. Then I need to get them all up in the certified roof cleaning sections. I have to get that done in the next few weeks. Spring is almost here.

Here's another change to my cheap throw away signs for telephone poles.

I've decided to make it even simplier, like Gutterdogs said.

One service and phone number and that's it!

Per Chris and Dave's advice keeping roof cleaning and power washing separate.

These will be cut in half and put up in separate locations.

I was just looking at that picture I posted. I love that roof cleaning because it caused the house to sell almost immediately. The realtor basically forced the guy to find a roof cleaner. The customer had spent sooooo much money doing things around that house and none of the potential buyers even noticed what he had spent all of the money on. They just noticed the black roof! The guy couldn't thank me enough for transforming the curb appeal of his house.

With all of that being said, there was not a roof that stressed me more than this one. It had all plastic gutters that leaked from everywhere and most of them didn't even catch all of the runoff from the roof. It was going down between the gutter and the fascia. It was a nightmare to keep from damaging things with SH! There were more unexpected leaks and a lot of wood deck in the rear of the house.

We made it through unscathed, but with a few less hairs! Gotta watch out for those cheap plastic gutters guys! They are a PITA!

Brian

Yeah man, nice shots. Colored roofs are fun. I don't get very many of those.

I think Larry posted a green roof once.

The customer roof was so black and moldy they didn't even know they had a green roof until after it was cleaned.

Thanks Michael. All you guys give great advice.

I'm looking forward to spring and I'm going to go nuts with these cheaper signs, putting them up everywhere.

(400) 9x24 signs for $380 + shipping is a great price.

No, I already counted cutting them in half.

I'll order (200) 18x24's and cut them in half myself.
