Still nothing yet on the fragrance?I've been worried about the smell myself.Do your customers not get scared when they see ya'll wearing respirators while spraying?How long does the smell usually last after you spray it on?

Will we go around smelling "fruity" now? Not sure I want to do that! I read on another thread that someone has used Floramask in the past. How's that working out?

Many use Floramask on a daily basis.
They make a Green APPLE fragrance smile

So, when you smell like green APPLES, you can remember I am "watching you" to be SURE you water the heck out of Plants!

When you are tempted to cut a corner on a job cause you are tired, etc, etc, go smell the Apples in your tank to "remind yourself" what RCIA guys have taught you.
Since roof cleaning in Tampa is an accepted thing, we get few complaints about the smell.
Personally, I LIKE the smell, it smells like MONEY, to me

Just remember guys, just because it smells good doesn't mean it won't harm your lungs. We have talked about this before. I too want something to cover the smell but lets remember that when you have home owners and children standing around smelling this nice smell. You must keep the Home owner and children, pets away. Lori, is it floramask? I called last week and the salesman still has not called me back. May try again today.

Its probably going to be floramask. I'll get the apple smell one too!! Like Chris, the Sodium hypochlorite smells like money to me also! Have to think about the customer and how its stillll a lil bit of a hard sell. With all the big companies knockin their competitors methods. I've tried the other methods. First hand knowledge here guys! The methods taught here are far superior!!!

I use a fragrance mask called Nilium. It is not SH compatible for long durations. Within about 48 hours, it will break down the SH molecules to the point where you will need a new mix, but if you will use your mix rather quickly, this stuff completely masks the smell of SH. If anyone is interested, our local supplier has offered a special price for RCIA contractors.

We got a sample of the Floramask Green Apple, but because of the weather (snow, probably the same for you) have not been able to test. From what we were told the Floramask does not breakdown the SH in any way shape or form. Billy Jensen, another member of the forum in Florida, swears by this stuff and from our understanding has been using it for some time. Floramask is sold by the pound (as are most liquids) and sells for just under $50 a gallon. How much is the masking agent your using costs? I agree if your using it fast enough and the price is right this may be another alternative.

Is the sample you've received Floramask? I believe their home office is in Jacksonville. We also received a sample (Green Apple) but haven't been able to use it because of the weather.

I don't know what brand they are. I was trying to find SH stable fragrance at affordable pricing for everyone. I was sent a fruity flavor and rose flavor. I finally received the MSDS. It is not very easy on the human body. I am waiting to find out how to ship them right now. Hopefully, I will be able to ship the product in plastic. The samples arrived in glass bottles and have been on my desk!

I am excited about the fruity flavor. The rose smells like I am in the rose garden in San Francisco.

I am still waiting on containers...Uhggg. The wait will be worth it. I got some of the rose flavored stuff on me. Yuck! Soooooo strong. Larry has a little of the fruity flavor in his ammonyx to try out. Let's see what he says!

We are starting a Condo association on Monday. Pressure Cleaning the buildings and Concrete. I am definitely going to use it on that to see how it works. That should be the perfect testing grounds. If It can keep a ton of Condo residents happy by keeping the SH smell down It can keep anyone happy. I've also got a few Roof Cleanings to do before weeks end. I will try it on one of them to see if it is enough to mask the smell. I will keep everyone posted on how it works.
