I tried a search for this but came up fairly empty. I feel I MUST have a website to get the business rolling forward. Many of you have websites and have experience in getting one going. Do you develop it yourself or pay someone to do it? It probably doesn't cost as much as I fear. I have that fear because I didn't grow up with the technology, I guess.
Any help would be very much appreciated. I am here to LEARN!

Go-daddy has some nice templates to use but it takes a knack to get it laid out right and get it looking nice but in the end you have something to be proud of
GO DADDY!!! is the best deal for the money. they have the best customer service.
I have done allot of research on this and if you are just starting out they are the ones you want to go with.Trust me on this.If you go with go daddy make sure you get the search engine optimization package that is very powerful stuff.if you have any question give me a call my # Is on my GO-DADDY site. RoofCleannc.com
GoDaddy has domain names for around $10 a year and they come with a free hosting plan. The free hosting plans will have advertising at the bottom of your page. You can upgrade to an economy hosting plan for around $60 a year and then your page will be free of advertising.
Or, you can get a google blogspt blog absolutely FREE ! When you are asked what URL you like, simply type in roofcleaningbumfukegypt. IOW, your URL should say roof cleaning lincoln nebraska, or wherever you get most work from. I paid 10 bucks a year for a custome URL, but the free URL Google will give you is almost as good! Here is mine www.roof-cleaning-tampa.com A blog will allow you to target any imaginable sequence of keywords. OR, you can get BOTH a Blog and a website. No way is right, or wrong, just GET your azz on the Internet, cause spring is coming quickly. WTF good is it to learn roof cleaning w/o having any work ? My advice - GET busy
I use website tonight and homestead. Both are fine. I also have several roof cleaning blogs that rank very high in local searches, further giving me that cherished real estate in cyber space!
I use Homestead. It's around $20/month, I designed it myself with their templates. Pretty cool features and easy to use. It also has site statistic reports on what pages visitors are viewing and where there viewing from(ISP providers and geographic locations).
