The BEST "nozzle" I ever used for a tile roof was a showerhead and a ball valve,
It froze up after a  few roofs, but when it worked, it was awaesome!
The circular pattern, as opposed to a flat spray, is the secret I feel.
It gets all parts of the tile, less going over the roof.
That said, we just use flat spray nozzles, and touch up spots here and there.
But a nozzle with a round pattern is best, it is callled a hollow cone nozzle, BTW.

 

Chris, may I ask where you get the Hollow cone nozzle? have never heard of it. Hmmmmm, still learning!
