Did you use 12% sodium hypochlorite?

NO i used straight household bleach as soon as i get a roof lined up. i will experiment with 12%.but to be honest with you i don't think there will be any difference.

In addition to the experiment, i did not mention, that after soaking the shingle in bleach i put it in the  the toaster oven at 110 degrees for an hour. the pic you see is the shingle right out of the oven literally.
