Today i saw at least 10 houses that needed a good roof cleaning.  I am ordering my first 5850, hose and ball valve on monday.  I still need to find a tank.  I will need to order the sh.  What else do i need to have to get the love from the tank, through the pump, through the hose, and on to the roof?
     I got into this because i tried to sell my house for 6 months and could not partly because of my roof.  my roof will be the first one i do.  If it works then it will be my neighbors and then i will try to get a few in before our hard winter.  I will advertise hard and try to hit spring running.
Any wisdom is appreciated!

Boy Mike you got me fired up.

Call Lori 800 519-9279 from PWP Pressure Washer Products and she will hook you up with everything you need. I thinks the only thing left that you  need is some nozzles ? oop's looks like you need a battery, and some Billy Bob too.

HI Mike

I noticed that your new here. Did you spend alot of time reading in the forum about pumps, water tanks, hoses, nozzles, chemicals, and etc.

What equipment including a truck or trailer do you have now, do you by any chance have a air compressor?

Mike, Clyde is right. Give Lori a call and she will be able to suggest everything you will need to be able to get your Roof Cleaning Rig started. Please do a bit of research if you haven't already on the methods of Chemical application for Non Pressure Roof Cleaning. There is a lot more to Roof Cleaning than just buying a pump and hose and spraying away. Think about licencing, insurance, marketing/advertising etc... Here is Lori's information. Give her a call.

And above all else, Make sure you get some safety equipment for yourself, such as respirator, face shield, gloves and harnesses if you're going to walk the roofs. More to it than meets the eye if you want to be safe and professional.

I have been on this forum almost every night the last two weeks. I have learned many things that might have been hard lessons had i not found rcia. I know there is more to it than just spraying the roof. I have read some of the safety threads and i intend on having protection. My insurance is almost set up. I will be talking with Lori if she is available on monday. I will be slow and careful. I am an electrical contractor now and It is a very detailed job.

I got a 5x8 trailer today and i will be peicing together my rig (simple starter rig) ASAP.
I am getting registered with the state.

I will be reading this forum, searching for answers continually.
I appreciate the communication on this forum.

Have you already bought your trailer? 5X8 is cutting it kinda of short.  If you plan on being in this business awhile you should have a bigger trailer or a flatbet truck. 5X8 is probably a single axle and that is not big enough for this business. Don't waste your money , if you can afford it start off bigger.

I did.  I really did not have the cash to go much larger.  I will probably use it the beginning.  If i take care of the trailer i am sure i can sell it when i am ready to upgrade.   I am sure it will hold the pumps, hoses and a few tanks.  I am pulling it behind my van so i am sure i can put tools and equipment in there as well.  How is your rig set up?

I have a ford f350 with a flatbed on it.  The front has a tool box on it that I have my pump mounted in.  I have a 225 gallon tank and a 65 gallon tank mounted on the back.  I have plenty of extra room on the bed for extra tanks hose reels if I need them.  I'll try to get some pics for you.
