I usually always where good rain gear or nylon cloths and especially good rubber boots called Muck boots, I destroyed so many 100.00 work boots it's not funny.

I buy the blue Dickies work pants with the stretchable waste cuz Im chubby and need the stretch. They dont bleach. I think they're polyester. $20 and they last forever. I have white company shirts that stay white from bleach with vinyl co. print that can handle the action.

Dickies work pants, muck boots, and anything with nylon or polyester. All my shirts are white or ash grey, and 100% cotton. They tend to end up with holes in them. The next batch I order will probably be a 50/50 blend.

Bingo! We have a winner!!!!! All my shirts are 50/50 blend and it doesn't matter how much Love I get on them they never bleach out or get holes in them. The wife likes them cause they are easier to Clean too. For shoes I just wear sneakers or high white rubber boots. All the shorts I wear are actually Nylon bathing suit style and work great. Remember, it stays warm down here most all of the year so you will never see me in long pants. I hate them!

Whatever keeps you cool on those hot days on those hot roofs.... The trouble with having your pimply, hairy azz hangin out is that the Love can get on your cheeks. Now in keeping with the purpose of this thread... what is the best "nutralizer" of the Love when it makes contact with our skin? Any Chemists our there?

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be Coke because of the acid the other end of the scale?

Coke is an interesting idea. I have NO IDEA what the PH of SH and TSP is but, it has got me thinking about the different strengths and types of acids that might act against the Love to nutralize it.

I carry some strong acids in my truck for glass restoration but, I wouldn't dare try to put it on my butt cheeks! There has gotta be something mild, cheap and safe enough to touch.

You're welcome. Just hoping to help someone avoid a lot of pain and suffering should something break and spray love all over them. Water is fine for washing off, but the chemical reaction needs to be stopped quickly, especially in the face and groin area.(OUCH). We do need a chemist's input on this. emote.img?ID=8424

Ivan I believe it is to neutralize the S.H. on your skin so it wont burn. I get burned all the time I just use water and it works.

i use it on my face, legs, eyes, I never had it on my groin...LOL

the firs Roof I did it was a mess!! got SH all over me, my pants were blue and they turned out white, now I don't really get the love on me like the first time,may be, because I'm beiing more carefull and profesional here is a picture of me spraying a roof with a long sleeve shirt i wear, I got it from a flee-market for 2 bucks but the SH does not afect it.

I didn't realize that the SH was so hard on cotton shirts. Figures, I just picked up $200+ worth of company shirts (all made of 100% cotton).

Don...LOL you must be single or no you must be married and never done laundry in your life...LOL

If their white or off white and your logo is screen printed you can use them, or just use them for something else.
