Does RCIA offer a business start-up kit?

Every area is different as far as warranty goes.
And estimates vary by region too, according to the amount of competition.
You would not give a 3 year warranty of roofs in florida, but several up north get away with it.
Roofs we clean here in Tampa for 350.00 go for 500.00 and more in some places.

Really, it is all about supply and demand.

Just as several of us here resent the Federal Government telling us what we can, and can't do in our OWN States, we don't make an attempt to tell YOU how to run your business.
That is up to you.

We can sure teach you the best roof cleaning methods, and how to market them.

I've cleaned 11 roofs so far and what I've learned from the RCIA forum has helped me avoid a lot of possible headaches, injuries and expense!
I cannot thank you all enough.
P.S. I am finding that with cleaning a roof that the gutters seem to get involved. Do you usually separately price cleaning the gutters when you give a roof cleaning estimate?

(As far as our roof cleaning prices, we have charged from $240-$580. The average of the 11 roofs we did is $409.)

Yes, gutters are not included with roof cleaning, although some idiots here in Florida offer to clean the whole house free, with roof cleaning.

When you go to a garage to get your brakes fixed, wheel alignment is seperate.

Now, it is ok to give someone a good deal on cleaning their gutters, since you are on the roof already.
But why give away a service they need, that you can charge extra for ?

It can take longer to clean out gutters then the roof itself, especially if they are clogged with Pine Needles/other debris.

Plus, snakes, rats, and other creepy crawlers live in gutters, so beware ?

What you can charge is up to you,and what your local market will allow..
