Just thought I would post some pics of the roof we did today for training purposes. We used Apple Cider Sauce that was pumping from a 5850. We did not rinse and put 2 layers of love on. The results look great and some of the pics have a half clean/half dirty image so the viewer can immediately see the results. I couldn't take pics from a distance due to hindrances and obstacles of where the house is located so I had to take close ups. I learned from you guys from reading all the posts on here! If any of you all have any input or comments on the photos please feel free to post them and I will listen to whatever you all have to say! I do have one question for you guys. I noticed on the roof that there were some very very small dark brown spots that have a rusted color. I do not think this is algae and it is very difficult to remove. Could these be rust spots? However, it does not effect the overall look of the clean roof. Hopefully I'll have more pics from future jobs on here. Thanks you guys!
I wouldnt worry about those brown spots where the stains were. They will come off with the rain. Overall it looks good. Wait till it rains then take your after shots perferably the same time in the day.
I have done many lite color roofs where the algea stains turned a light brown and after it rained they look good as new. So as far as the 20 bucks make it out to me.
Looks good. I see in photo 4 yhere is a light shadow from the algae. Did your second coat fix this? I am finding that I have these and then have to reapply.
