opinions on this motorised spray set up

I use roller pumps which is powered by 5 hp. Honda. Thy shoot very well and if rinsed properly will last long enough to make alot of money. Have a spare at the ready with quick connects for fast change over if need be.

You need to post a link when you want advice on a particular product.

Im trying to get started and im using a 7560cr hypro pump along with a 5hp honda. I'm having problems with building any pressure due to the motor shutting off when load is too strong. I'm just curious what brand roller pump you use.

Sounds like you have the pump that runs from a PTO. They run opposite as that of a gas engine. A 5 hp. shouldn't shut off due to pressure buildup. Something else would most likely give out before the engin would stop,...like a hose would blow first.

Put the exact model number up so we can evaluate what may be happening.

I got a honda GC160 5hp gas motor with a Hypro cast iron 8 roller pump (series 7560cr reverse rotatation for gas engines)

Ok...does it spray ok while the trigger or ball valve is open?
Try turning the bypass adjuster counter clockwise to lower the psi. I use just the smaller 4 rollers.
Although the 5 hp. should be sufficient, see if there is a recommended hp rating for the larger pump.

No it does not spray good with the trigger open. It will run while the pressure release valve is wide open, but as we gradually increase the pressure the motor will choke off. ( It will not get over 5 psi before the motor stops)

Unhook everything coming from the outlet and see what that gets you. Starting to sound odd though. If you can get a picture of the setup that may help,...probably not,...but maybe.

here are some pic. i hope attach them right. I did Unhook everything coming from the outlet, i had a flow but it was not strong.

Did your engine still want to stall?

Not sure what all the inlet lines are for. Remove the bank of inlets and run just one 3/4" or 1" line into the inlet side.

Also,what is the 4 way fitting on the outlet side? I see you have a gauge, but what is the small hose barb for?

Your bypass valve looks to be after your hose coonection. If you're using the hose barb thing as your hose connection, you need to get it after the bypass valve, Get rid of the 4 way and the gauge and put a "T" at the male threaded end of the bypass. Attach the outlet from the pump to one side of the "T" and attach your hose to the other side. Jeff
