That is exactly what I have and you can also make it a subdomain of your site also. Google sites has good help on how to do this. You might also get some help from your domain host.
For instance mine was http://roofcleaningadvice.blogspot.com
I was able to change it to http://roofcleaningadvice.greatwhitetechnologies.com by adding a cname to my domain account and pointing it at Google.
If you can get the blogspot.com out of the url address it looks better.
