I run the Delavan 5850 5.3 gpm pump with a 55 gal tank. I also have a 225 gal water tank on my trailer. I was wondering if I could have a t before the pump with one line coming from the 55 gal chemical and the other from the 225 gal water tank, if the two would be a 50/50 mix and be too strong of a solution. Basically I am tired of only making 50 gal batches of love. If I would fill the entire 55 gal with SH, tsp, ispa, dawn and also pull from the water tank this would be more cost effective and save me time. Any thoughts or insite on this issue. Thanks for the help.

I have tried this and it didn't work too well. Like pat said, It's tough to find a way to control the strength of the mix and on top of that, whichever tank has the most in it seems to back flow into the other tank. Must have something to do with the gravity feed. I've accidentally left my rinse bucket ball valve open on my valve setup only to find my rinse bucket filled up and sometimes overflowing with Roof Cleaning or House Wash mix depending on which tank I was drawing from. I think the only way this could be achieved would be do have a dedicated pump for each tank supplying one spray line. Even then it may not mix properly. That's why I just stick to one dedicated tank for that particular job.
