Today couldve been lost if not for my roof pump! In the last week I got my air diaphram pump set up and running. We used it on the first roof tuesday and it ran great.
SO TODAY were washing a 4500 sq ft house and half way through my pwer layed down. I transfered 15 gallons of house wash mix over to my roof tank with the 5850 delevan then added 45 gallons of water and finished the job.
This mix was a little strong and required respirators on the large front porch.
Bottom line... without either roof pump I would have probably threw a fit. maybe broke a few toes lol but instead we were shut down for 15 min to pull out hose and mix chems then off to the races
Belt had came lose on pwer washer and it was running hot. It cranked and ran fine this after noon. Its 12 years old and I got it for a steal so ill pat it on the head and keep urging her on till she dies. lol
Excellent work my friend, that's how we get em done!!!
MAn, talk about the right attitude...see were a little positive thinking can get you. Rock on Brother...
There are lots of uses for these spray rigs. Pesticides and chicken houses are big here, but I won't touch them. I use mine for deck solutions as well.
Do you use your delevan for decks?, I bet that works good.
I have not done any wood restoration since I got my delevan. But speak of the devil I had a request for an estimate today on prepping a boat dock for sealer. That was my thought to use the delevan instead of a pump up sprayer.
How about this.... I want to figure out what treatments the lawn care guys are spraying on yards. Weve all got the setup. Id like to play with my yard then who knows. It would beat the ol hand spreader and bags of fertilizer or weed killer.
On the roof pump for house washing.... It was a little slower and I didnt have pressure for dirt dobber nests and such but I only use pressure when necessary and It was my first time to wash one this way so who knows what might come of that. I know there are guys who do it all that way.
