Amen Juarez , well water has a lot of iron stick with the city water if you can sometimes when you rinse(if you rinse)when using well water you may see brown coloring on the roof that goes away when it rains

Thanks for the post Juarez. I live out of town and have a well, and I hadn't considered that as a problem. A lot of the houses I hope to treat are out of town on wells, so if I rinse and still have brown, I wouldn't have had a clue why until now. If I notice it as a problem, I will get a large tank and fill it in town and then mix my chemicals at home using that water.

What is the ideal water PH for mixing with SH ? Rain water is 5.6 PH which is ideal for rinsing, is this also ideal for mixing ? I talked to a pool supplier and he says a ph of 7.2- 7.8 makes the clorine more effective. I tested my water, which is well water and levels were below 6.0, not sure of actual because test kit only went as low as 6.0. If PH needs to be adjusted can sodium carbonate be used to raise PH, or sodium bisulphate to lower PH of water before mixing with SH ?

I use Dry Water. Mix it with Water... :)

Have you guys tried a water filtering system?

Sulfur makes the water smell like rotten eggs. But you cun stillll drinks it, eye growed up on thuh stuff, an loook at me, iiiiiiimm jjjusssst fine.

my bad, sulfur water you typically find it in shallow wells. it has rust in it and mite streak in your roof.i read on it in one of the forums.one guy was having problems with brown streaks after applying the love.
