Has anyone had any experience with "pro chemical sprayer"

Before i spend that much i would go into an air diapham set up, talk to Chris & Dave thier the pros on this, and check the search forum first

Thanks. I have searched the forum and I was just seeing what Way i should go. I am just a little confused on how to hook up the pump to the compressor. Is it just an air line out then into the pump and is it a quick connect?

Looks like the PSI on those sprayers is too high. Remember NO pressure when cleaning. lowest PSI listed was 200 and that is more than 3x what the Delavan 5850 puts out.

i know thats one thing i was concerned about. I also want something that i can work from the gutter line. The less i walk on the roof the better. I am leanning towards the air diaphram setup with 3/4 keritc hose and a 3/4'' ball valve for the nozzle set up.

the 200 psi is the max it puts out it has a regulator to reduce it to 0 if you have the extra bucks , go with the air diapham or use the delavan until or ready for the good stuff

i p m'd dave and i think i am going to go with the air diaphram setup. just have to get a bigger chem tank.

the 200 psi output is exactly what the chemical bandit produced when it was still available. Keep in mind that nozzles, hose size, etc. all play a role in the psi output of any hose. I know a few guys who used the chemical bandit and could spray just about ANY roof from the ground, not the gutter line. The thing I would be worried about is the decibel level of the pump. Take for instance the Udor Zeta: It is a higher psi output pump, yet still low enough to be considered non-pressure roof cleaning. However, the motor on the darn thing sounds like a freakin' weed-eater, and that to a customer may sound like a pressure washer. I personally like the silent pumps, i.e Delevans. I cleaned a roof two weeks ago while the homeowner was sleeping. He finally woke up and was amazed that he didn't know we were there. biggrin

These kinds of pumps do not last

for us cleaning many roofs a day 5 to 6 days a week.
The Chlorine eats em up.
The air diapraghm pumps are THE most reliable roof cleaning pumps I have tried.
And I have tried many.
Harbor Freight has a nice little wheel barrow compressor on sale for 399.95 with a 6.5 hp motor and a one year free replacement warranty!
It will power a 1/2 inch poly air diapraghm pump just fine.
EVEN better if you buy a 30 to 50 gallon seperate air tank!
The 1/2 inch poly pump will do just fine as long as you rinse it right out when you are finished cleaning a roof ?
We use Kynar/Teflon pumps because we do not rinse our equipment out.
BAD practiice I know - but I INTENTIONALLY torture stuff to see HOW long it lasts ?

I will be investing in an air diaphram next year IF I get enough business this year. I currently have the Delavan. I purchased 2 so I would have one as a back up. Still using the first one with no issues so far. It does everything I need so far, but I can see where I might be graduating next year and going after bigger jobs.
