This is the Sandalwood ALF in Port Orange, FL. The Barrel Tile Roof was very old and was in need of a good cleaning. These pictures are before a good strong rain could rinse off the dead algae but they still look impressive.

 

 

 

The Mallard System works well for these older roofs because we dont have to walk on the roofs exposing us to tile breakage and leaks.

Nice Tile Roof Cleaning Job AC
Where is Port Orange FL at ?
Those white tile roofs are among the hardest roofs to clean.

 I agree with you on that one Chris. White Painted Tile Roofs are the toughest of all Tile Roofs to Clean. We have got a lot of them over here in Pinellas County that are Painted. The Mold will actually get under the the Painted surface and Harbor itself there where it will begin to feed off the Paint. Once this occurs it is very tough to kill.
Great job on that Roof Cleaning AC. I'm sure the owners are very pleased with the outcome. It looks GREAT! 2 Thumbs up!

I try to stay away from sealers. If they fail thats one more thing you have to blast off the roof. Sometimes the sealers and paints get so many layers on these older roofs they look like they have leporsy.

Ill try to get back by and take another pic or two of these after the benifit of rain rinsing off all of the dead algae.

Wow AC ..  the Tile Roof Cleaning In Pt Orange loos great now.
But as all us veteran Tile Roof Cleaners know  - White Barrel Tile Roofs always look their very best after a good rain
