So what does everyone prefer as work gear? I like Dickies blue uniform pants, brown Dickies button up shirt. Atlas 370 gloves, and Muck boots.
The Dickies pants are VERY chlorine resistant,...almost chlorine PROOF. The shirts are very good also, not as good as the pants, but very resiliant none the less.
Thanks guys!! I was wondering what clothes of mine to wear that I didn't mind destroying. Dickie's clothing will be my next purchase. I also think it will have more of a professional appearance.

If you like the Dickies Workwear approach, go to my website and see the front page/home page for an example of a Dickies shirt with our Roof Clean USA LOGO embroidered on a patch along with the Roof Cleaning Technicians name.
We also have Silkscreened T-shirts that we have just our logo in One Color Black Silkscreen.
In my opinion get a DOZEN or TWO of the Fruit of the Loom T-Shirts from your local WHOLESALE CLUB , i.e. Sam's, BJ's Costco.
Then, go to a local Silkscreen shop and have your LOGO made into a screen and have them print up 1or 2 dozen in plain white and wear these when performing the ACTUAL roof cleaning job.
Then for meet and greet's or marketing wear either a button down Embroidered Dickies or other collared long sleeved shirt Blue, brown or light green or white or a collared sport shirt short sleeved with your logo.
Make sure and get some complemetary baseball hats with your logo in one color made as well.
Then when you are turning a profit do the Dickies wear as they tend to be fairly costly for a start up.

I use the George Brand shirts from Wal-mart, and believe it or not, we get compliments on how nice they look. We use a blue and white polo, that is a mesh, cotton, poly blend, and they are very comfortable to work in, while still maintaining a professional appearance.
Here is my OLD "roof cleaning uniform" LOL Actually, this is an OLD Picture of me Cleaning a Tampa Roof. I LOVED these Red POLYESTER Shorts, they even had POCKETS.
I wore em till they stunk SOO Bad, the Girlfriend "put em out of their misery" LOL 'I STILL Miss them, and the old Deck shoes to keep you from slipping on a Boat Deck.
Today, my employees have company shirts, grey ones, a 50/50 blens cotton/polyester. We find Grey dont bleach out ?
I get my shirts and hats and business cards from Vistaprint dirt cheap! Good shirts and hats and my cards are always just fine. If you have a complaint, they don't charge you at all and just send out the right thing! Sorry to say, I LIKE JEANS! So, I have the white speckled leg jeans on, with my pro shirt and hat!
