O.k. guys, I've got all of my equipment and have given a couple of estimates. Do you have any advice for me before I clean my first roof.

Just wondering if you test sprayed any roofs for friends or relatives. Even going through the motions with just water instead of mix would be helpful.

Jeff

What kind of equipment did you get?

Pump, power supply, hoses, nozzles, valves, hose reel, tank?

I'm not really sure of the brands of the equipment we bought except the hoses. I took the advice of people on this site and bought goodyear hoses.

You don't know what you bought? What kind of pump, what kind of hose? if you don't know what kind of pump you bought, may want to spend more time learning before you start working.biggrin SPRAY your roof before you spray someone else's.

Yes Kevin you are correct. I got excited and jumped in head first then realized I don't know crap. That is why I am now back peddling and trying to read and gather info before I start any jobs.

Hey Jeff, I am proud to say that I did my first test run today. My wifes grandmother let me do her house. I hope to have some pics soon. Thanks for your help.

In roof cleaning, there are few "mistakes"
We prefer to call them "learning experiences"

You must break some eggs to make Mayonaisse
It takes a few roofs under your belt to get comfortable.
At LEAST you got on a roof and tried.

One day, you WILL be a roof cleaner, and look back and Laugh at your learning experiences.

It;s all goodsmile
