i clean a roof 2 days ago,the roof was not walk able, this roof i had to make my way to the top and spray from the top and let it roll down to the bottom,
the last 5 roofs i clean,i could start from the bottom and make my way back to the top and the move over and start again.and the roof came clean and look great
but the roof that i could not walk, had heavy stains and came clean somewhat! about 90% clean, but today i drove back by it check on the roof and it looks better but you can see where the stains were,i apply two coats to this roof
what i would like to know is there anything i can do like apply a coat again, or do i need to apply from the bottom up to avoid run off!!
thanks eric

Keep in mind also that in addition to an extra spray, you most likely need to heat up your mix. When it's running off at a more rapid rate, it isn't having the required time to dwell. You can also add some more surfactant to slow the flow down.
MIKE NOW THAT YOU SAY THAT I HAVE ADDED THE DAWN AND ALCOHOL LAST ON ALL THE HOUSE I HAVE DONE,BUT ON THIS ONE ,I ADDED IT ABOUT 2 HOURS (MAYBE) BEFORE DOING THE JOB,LOOKS LIKE I OWE YOU ONE AGAIN,THANKS MAN
AND AS FOR GUTTERS NOT ALOT OF HOMES HAVE THEM,I WOULD SAY MAYBE HALF,NOW THIS HOUSE HADE THEM ONLY IN THE BACK
TAKE A LOOK AT THE HOUSE WE DID 3 DAYS AGO,HEAVY STAINS AND THE HOME OWNER SAID THEY WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE STAINS OFF BECAUSE THEY WERE SO HEAVY,
TSP is compatible with bleach and you can pre-mix it with hot water at your house and have your bleach/water/TSP ready before you get to the job and then add the dawn/alcohol.
yes i hav been mixing the tsp the night before and then the next morning when i mix bleach,i add it then and yes i am going to wait til i am at the job before i mix, dawn and alcohol,

Eric, I'm gonna take it easy on ya bro. I think you got some bad SH or didn't let it dwell long enough in those last two pics. In the afters, I can clearly see stains remaining around that roof line. I would hit that again if possible.
yes we had problems getting it to stick and not roll off, this is one of those jobs were i am just going to have to stay at the job longer and let it dry then reapply, so the roll off isn't as bad, and the SH , i thought was good. i am getting it from the place that makes it ,not a place that resells.i have been using a 55 drum in about 3 to 4 days,so i would think it isn't going bad,

Funny thing is, that with chlorine, you don't realize you got a bad batch until you get a good batch. Then it's kinda' like "WOW, this must be how it's supposed to be".
i have about 15 or so gallons out of drum from last week, i am going to try it and see,if i have any luck with it,the drum from last week i clean 3 roofs and it did good,so i will try it,
