Shop on ebay and online. What is a good price. The least you can pay for it.

Seriously, shop and compare prices. You are looking anywhere from 450.00 down to 225.00 probably.

New retail is in the range of 500.00-750.00 on average, NEW.

Kynar costs more.

You need a decent compressor, 6 hp minimum, gas Motor, Honda preffered.

My preferance 6-8hp Honda Motor w/ 20-30 gallon tank and a two - three cylinder pump. One cylinder is ok but longeveity is better now.

Read much more in the pumps and Air compressors section of Roof Cleaning tools.

Good Luck,

David

Good deals here on pumps and most everything else:  Dultmeirs
I only paid $259.00 last year for the Poly/Teflon version. $276.00 now.

The expense with an air diaphragm pump is the compressor. $700.00-$1,000.00 new. If you already have one,..then great.

Plumbing a Yamada-15
Permalink

What diameter plumbing is everyone using between your Yamada -15 pump and chemical tanks.  I understand outlet hose should be 3/4".  But the inlet side uses a 1/2" Female NPT socket and the tanks are in close proximity.

Plumb with 1/2" and you will be fine for such short hose runs if you don't want to fuss.

But, if you want to have MAX flow use 1/2" to 5/8" or 1/2" to 3/4" Male Pipe Thread and 5/8" or 3/4" Hose and even that will give you extra flow.

If you pull from the top of your tanks, run up to 3 x's the I.D. of your hose for a PVC suction tube for best and MAX draw.

WE use 1/2 inch feed line, short as possible, and a 3/4 inch PVC feed tube in our dual tanks smile

Try craigslist as well for your air compressor I just aquired a 5.5hp honda/dewalt 9cfm 8gal dual torpedoes for $450 with 10hrs on it. Not the best as 12cfm is optimal with a larger air tank but what a deal, and much better flow than the 2.7cfm electric pancake I was usung!!

On the feed end use the inlet size or above, my wilden 1/2" suggests up to 2" on vertical runs

Heck YES, lots of out of work roofers and other tradesmen these days GIVING away their tools.
Remember guys, that shiny NEW compressor will be eaten UP by corrosove fumes in NO time.
LOTS of perfectly good used stuff on Craigslist and Pawnshops biggrin

That was an EXCELLENT deal Kory!
The Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor is a favorite of Roofers, and a proven performer.
It will run a 1/2 inch Air Pump, whatever kind you get ?
I like the LOOKS of the Versa Matic pumps you found too Kory.
GOOD JOB smile
