Hey a great big THANKS to all that take time to answer questions. I`m new to this sight & business so if these questions have been answered please direct me where. I was thinking about getting a 2ft x 2ft sign to place in a customers yard a week before I clean their roof that reads ATTENTION NEIGHBORS
Watch my roof
Algae-Free roof cleaning
Call 270-784-4401

Also what about the idea of presenting a $20.00 refund for each accepted referal.
Thanks again for your support. Kipp

Kip,

You are most certainly welcome.

All of us here on the forum who were once new also.

We all appreciate your enthusiasm.

We didn't come into this world hold a ball valve in our hand and squirtin' roof cleaning chemical. LOL

(although I know a couple of Contact Cleaners who I swear were born with a pressure washer wand in their hand, they are THAT good)

Kip, you should know or begin to see by now that we Roof Cleaners are kind of like a community, and as you can see by the many DETAILED posts to your questions, that We do try to help newcomers to the trade in whatever way possible.

We just ask you to do us a favor before you post and "Do a CHECK UP, from the NECK UP". If the question is one that you can answer by doing some investigative research, try to track down the answer and see if has already been discussed, here on this board or elsewhere.

When you post, we just want to make you do some of the work in educating yourself and doing your OWN research, as many of us have HAD to DO as well.

I am SURE you would agree, Kip, that there are no shortcuts, in learning the roof cleaning trade or in anything else. If your learning CURVE is too EASY, how valuable is it and will it stick with you when the chips are down.

You will thank us all later, down the road, and be thankful we put some pressure on you to learn and study and research on your own to really digest and think about the process of aquiring the information you seek.

Education is the key.

By the way, both are perfectly good and totally servicable ideas that you suggested above.

You never know until you TRY them in your local area.

For more info on Marketing your roof cleaning services, check the archives on other boards as well using the individual keywords, marketing, lawn signs, referrals, refunds, new business ideas, etc.

Good Luck getting business and much success!
