I get mine for $2 per gallon and I can drive to get it myself if its an emergency or something.
And until I get my orders up to a few hundred more gallons per week I wont be seeing a significant discount anytime soon.

My buddy gets a lot of govt. contracts and just asked me the other day about getting a 8400 gallons of bleach so I called my supplier and asked him if he was interested and he told me that they do not even mess around with that kind of stuff anymore because the bidding wars are actually over the plastic and how cheap they can get it, not the SHypo. He tells me about a place in Pittsburgh, Massachusetts and 2 Clorox plants on the east coast get it always because they are under 0.50 per gallon. And that includes 8400 plastic bottles, the shipping and handling for 4 shipments of 2100 gallons.

what they do is ask for 4 shipments, one each quarter and they pay up front.

Imagine if we collectively got together and made an order. That would be ridiculous. We could save tons of money and we would be getting 55 or 15 gallon containers too. We could get it for pennies.

That gets me wondering........I know people, good people, who can make things happen........................................................Just a thought

I just got an email today from a roof cleaner who is paying $7.50 a gallon and spending near $200 to make a batch of mix. He was asking me if that was the right price.... To bad really I tried and tried to get him to come on this site and I keep watching him struggle to figure it out.

I talk to Brenntag today. They will not sell SH to me. The sales rep stated it was a home land security issue. When I told him I was going to be using it for roof cleaning, he said definitely not.  He said it was an epa issue as well, and could not sell it to me. After explaining to him what my goals were and how much  business I could bring him , he still said no.

Now I'm stuck having to pay 3.10 a gal plus delivery charge from a supplier 1 1/2 hours away.

I checked with local pool supply companies and they want anywhere from 4.59 - 6.00 a gal.

Your business will survive at 3.10 a gallon.  If you haven't already checked these suppliers out yet look them up online.

Buckman Chemical.  Brainard Chemical.  Univar.  Vertex Chemical.

Good luck.

My first 55 was 2.86 a gal at Gilmer in Harrisonburg. I found a new supplier in Dayton for 2.30 and he has Ammonyx Lo for 13.96 a gal. Univar in Richmond wanted 2.83 a gal. It's cheaper for me to pick it up to avoid delivery charges. I think Roxxon Corp. will work with me as the quantities go up next year.

Cleaning is required because all metal finishing processes require that part to be finished be free from organic and inorganic soils, including oils, scale, buffing and publishing products. The three basic types of cleaners in use are solvents, vapour degreasers, and alkaline detergents.

What will be the approximate cost of sodium hypochlorite? can anyone recommend it?

Thnaks in advance.

Sh will not work in these applications.

92 cents per gallon + tax for us, but they have small diameter fill hoses.
Our regular guy we pay a little more from, but I "trained" him right!
He has very large  diameter (much bigger then normal) outside fill hose I insisted he put on his Chlorine Tanks. The big fill hoses make an incredible difference in filling time.
Our roof cleaning trucks have dual 325 gal tanks that we can fill quickly with the larger hose.

We contacted a bulk chlorine distributor here in Florida. They set up a 800 gallon tank along with spill basin at no charge. All we had to do was furnish the location. We poured an 8'X8'X4" concrete slab, purchased 80 cinderblocks and fenced it in with 6' wooden fence with a gate. They came in and set up everything with a 2" fill hose 12' long with a ball valve assembly for filling. We are set up on an automatic refill unless I call within 2 days of our normal Thursday fill day. You have to have room for a semi to get to the tank to fill it. .88 cents a gallon delivered. No matter if we get 200 or 800. Most cases it is 300. keeps it fresh. I've been known to sell to local pressure washers for a $1.50 a gallon. It is definitely a win, win for us.

Posted here once before but my updated pricing here is 2.17/gal.  Not terrible, but I'll certainly be looking for something alittle cheaper soon.
