I had my guy who works on all my equipment order it one day when I was in the middle of doing 2 Tile Roofs and both of my sureflows died on me. Been having nothing but problems with the sureflows for the past 5 months. I was over it big time. I couldn't afford the expence of a roof Cleaning Pump such as the Yamada at this time so I went with the comet. It's comletely Chemical reistant and is working great so far. I know nothing in this biz lasts forever but we'll see how long I can get out of this one. Hopefully the next will be an upgrade to the Yamada like Chris'. My sureflow is also still hooked up and is now running fine again. A switch of a ball valve on my chem line allows me to use either one. Kinda like having the best of both worlds!

I run the Yamada also, (poly Version). But I actually have the roller hooked up also for applying house washing mix. But I like the way it over the Yamada, just won't hold up to roof mix for long. Gets old using them while they're dying. Only used one all last Summer spraying only house mix. But I like the idea of the back up also. The stalling issue with the Yamada is hopefully fixed, by the addition of an oiler. Jeff

Roller Pumps work GREAT for roof cleaning, when they are new.
Then, they die, and all all too fast.
Cleaning 3 to 5 roof a day like we did, roller pumps lasted a very short time.
We prefer the relaiability of the Yamada for cleaning roofs.
