Non Pressure Tile Roof Cleaning Tampa By Apple Tile Roof Cleaning Tampa

Here is a tile roof in the process of being cleaned.
Notice the tarps we used on the plants ?
This Tampa Tile Roof Cleaning Customer had a bad experience with a one man tile roof cleaner he found in the Tampa Yellow pages.
It was a cool day when we tarped these plants.
One must be careful when tarping plants when cleaning a tile roof yawn
The heat can kill or brown the plants.
We prefer a lot of water to protect the plants from the non pressure tile roof cleaning chemical.

Nice job on the Roof Cleaning Chris. I've had to tarp a few myself just to be on the safe side. I'ts been a LONG time since someone called us after a Roof Cleaning and said that we damaged anything. Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks Larry!
We still tarp new, delicate plants, but make sure they have good ventilation to protect them from the roof cleaning chemicals.
I think more plant damage is done by small roof cleaning pumps.
The small pumps almost force you to use strong tile roof cleaning solutions.
These strong solutions can take out plants quickly.
The larger roof cleaning pumps we use allow for a milder roof cleaning solution, sicne they can put more of it on.

I only had some canvas tarps but I was thinking of buying that rolled plastic so I could cut off what I need.

Anyone do that or do you just go buy regular tarps?

If using the plastic on a roll, what thickness will hold up?

Thanks.

I forget the thickness but we carry plastic sheets just in case we need to cover anything when Cleaning Roofs. I believe the sheets we have are 10x50. We originally got the for a Roof Cleaning job we did for the Feather Sound Plaza which is in Clearwater Florida. You can see the thickness better in the second pic. I took a picture of a plant that was already pretty much dead before we started. Just part of the (cyoa) plan. LOL... You want something that is at least thick enough to hold up to being dragged and something that can at least withstand branches and limbs from whatever you may be covering when Cleaning Roofs. Last thing you want are holes in the plastic where the Roof Cleaning mix can get to the plants or shrubs.
