Apple Sauce mix ratio for smaller jobs???

I'm new to this business, I've been washing houses (low pressure) using a 3.5 gal sprayer and clorox pro cleaner then rinsing off with a hose. can I use your apple sauce in the same way to wash roofs? What would be the mix ratio for a standard sprayer? Do you need to pre-wet the roof before you use the cleaning solution??? Thanks!!

AppleSauce will work in a sprayer.
Look at the formula for it, and apply it as is in the sprayer.
You MUST find fresh Sodium Hypochlorite, or the AppleSauce will not work.

I used to keep a pump up for spot spraying, but I kept having a problem with undissolved powder clogging up the tip.

For pump up sprayers, you can do two things.
1 - increase the percentage of SHC a bit to compensate for the loss of the TSP and/or Borax
2 - Add a little Sodium Hydroxide, like one or two percent of the total mix.
The Sodium Hydroxide addition does two things,
1 - is stabalizes the chlorine/water mix
2 - it makes it a bit stronger cleaner by raising the PH.
The hyperchlorite ION is what does the cleaning in SHC
It is most active at high PH.

Well, we have a guy who says he uses it in a sprayer.
I have some concerns though.
When you mix the Alcohol with the chlorine and dish soap, it gives off a Gas.
Even chlorine mixed with dish soap by itself makes gas.

On my web site www.saferoofcleaning.com , there is a roof cleaning explosion link.

I would be careful !
