Yes, I call them contributions, because that's what they are/were,... You probably tried calling the 800 number,.it only accepts calls from two area codes. So don't try and make like my number "doesn't" work. With that said,..don't bother calling me, And I sure as heck ain't gonna call you,...What would I have to say to you,..not a whole of anything constructive I can tell you that. I'm not at all interested in talking to you.

Sorry Chris, I like this board,..but this guy rubs me the wrong way,...As a courtesy to you I will end this now with this post.

We use a DJI Phantom 3, 4K drone. It's great because the camera moves unlike the old Phantom drone models so it takes less time to get complete & crystal clear images of the roof. It'll be interesting to see how the government handles drone laws in the near future. For now in Glendale Arizona they are safe to use but definitely check you local laws because in one of our neighboring towns, Paradise Valley, drone use is illegal for any commercial purposes and people have gotten fined. Hope this helps!

The biggest advantage to a drone is that you can take pictures, print them out and have something to put in your customers hand as a sales tool. Also, it separates you from the guy with a Home Depot  pressure washer in the back of his pick-up.

Mike Roberts,..are you saying it took two of you to price a roof? Ha,Ha,Ha,.. You're kidding right,..seriously,..that is one of the most ridiculous things I've seen someone willing to admit for a while. Wait,.let me register this in my mind,..It takes two of you to price a roof,...

Makes me wonder how many guys it takes to do the actual work.

Gotta admit, that's pretty much what I was thinking. I can price a job in a 1 minute walk around.

But, it might be fun?

At the very least, it's a great marketing tool. You can use the drone to take great videos of the entire roof cleaning process and post it to social media.

I seen one last week, nice tool. It has its place in the industry, just something else to waste money on.

I agree, just something to waste money on, another toy. However, I have seen some roof cleaning photo's taken from a Drone that looked cool as hell !

We use a drone for roof cleaning and gutter cleaning fairly often, especially on homes with spots hard to see from the ground. There great if you do gutter cleaning and need to see if specific gutters need cleaned prior to estimating. The mavic mini works perfect for us.
