Probably a crazy idea, would an air inlet help in the foaming process. By that I mean something as simple as a pinhole in the hose coming from the tank to the pump. This would allow air to be sucked into the mix and cause it to foam a bit. What do you guys think?

hmm sounds like what you said.. a crazy idea, what says air will come in and not liquid shoot out!... But why do you need to foam your mix? Just curious, if you are having problems with the mix not sticking, try some other surfactants? Although I know it is cool to have the white foam shooting everywhere all over the roof for the neighbors to see.

If the air inlet is before the pump it might work after all the pump is pulling the mix from the tank and should in theory pull in air as well. I wouldn't like to see it foaming all over the place but if it foamed up a little bit it might help with the mix clinging to the roof.

If you are using a 12volt a pin hole on the intake side will either stop the pump or not get the distance you need. Now if you are using an all flo the diaphragm will cycle rapidly.
