Macomb County, Michigan! My old stomping grounds! I remember cruising Gratiot  through East Detroit, Roseville, and cleap up to Harrison Township. I left Michigan in 1971, and the roof algae was not present back then. But the roof mold has developed the ability to survive the cold Michigan winters! We were just up in Macomb County, and I saw tons and tons of roofs in need of cleaning.

I bet many people in Macomb County are not even aware their shingle roofs can be safely cleaned ?
