Add a Surface Cleaner for $270 or $315 and Stop Leaving Money on the Table

I very rarely advertise to our higher pressure consumers on this board out of respect to everything.....SOFTWASH!!!

We would like to let you know that we offer an entry level commercial grade surface cleaner at a great price (until General Pump changes the price on us).

Have you considered using a Surface Cleaner with your pressure washer.  Have you been asked or have you wanted to ask about cleaning the driveway, pool deck, patio, sidewalk or other flat surface?  Instead of holding a wand for hours and painstakingly cleaning the surface inch by inch, use a walk behind surface cleaner.

You need to have at least 1000 psi and 3 gpm at the bare minimum for the 18" in diameter Hammerhead.  Obviously, the greater the pressure and greater the gallons per minute, the more efficient the surface cleaner becomes for your intended use.

A Few Things to Think About When Using One for the First Time:

1.  Minimum of 1000 psi and minimum of 3 gpm

2.  DO NOT USE HEAT with the Hammerheads.  (Max temp rating is 180 degrees F)

3.  MUST properly match nozzles to the surface cleaner.  The stock nozzles are UNMARKED and are orifice size 2.0 and 15 degrees.  If your pressure washer is a 13 hp Honda engine with a direct drive General Pump model, EZ4035G34, you should use an orifice of 3.5 nozzle on your wand.  In order to figure out which nozzle you need for a surface cleaner, you take your orifice size needed for your pump and divide it by 2 because there are 2 holes in the spray bar on the Hammerhead.  The Hammerhead requires a 15 degree nozzle in 1/4 MEG.  In this example you take the 3.5 nozzle and divide by 2 which is 1.75 orifice.  The 1.75 orifice is soooo tiny that a grain of sand can block it up.  We carry 1.0 and 1.5 orifice 1/4 MEG nozzles for mostly homeowner or big box pressure washers giving the customers the understanding of the clog potential.  You may add an inline high pressure filter before the swivel to prevent some of the clogging)   Because 1.75 falls between an 1.5 and 2.0, always choose the bigger size nozzle when deciding which nozzle to use based on a nozzle chart or nozzle calculator and use the 2.0 by 15 degrees orifice nozzles.

4.  Choose either the 18" or 20" model of Hammerhead Surface Cleaner.  If you have a lower flow or lower pressure pressure washer which happened to be purchased at a hardware store or may have arrived on your front porch in a "Big Box", it would probably be best to choose the 18".

5.  Do not use the Hammerhead if your pressure exceeds 4000 psi or your gpm exceeds 8.

6.  Strongly consider adding a ball valve to the end of your hose especially if your pressure washer remains with the rig.  Adding a high pressure ball valve and even an inline live swivel will cut down on extra steps back and forth.  The swivel is a 'must have' if you constantly fight with your hose.  Mosmatic makes the very best one on the market.  Do not skimp on the inline swivel because buying a cheap one defeats the whole purpose of buying a live inline swivel.  It will not move easily.  ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE WHEN INSTALLING THE MOSMATIC INLINE GUN SWIVEL.  I have three cracked swivels sitting in the office that were damaged during installation and never saw water.  The customer overtightened and cracked the swivel.   Instead of going back to the pressure washer to turn it off to switch from the wand to surface cleaner, simply turn the ball valve and cut the flow off at the end of your hose.  Double check to ensure that your pump is unloading properly if you have a direct drive pump (without pulleys).  To double check, pull the trigger on your gun with one hand and pinch the short bypass hose attached to the thing that looks like a user friendly handle, or unloader (NEVER ADJUST that USER FRIENDLY unloader).  You should not feel any water going through that short bypass line.  If you do, there is a problem with your unloader and it may not be turned down enough and DO NOT WALK AWAY from your pressure washer without the trigger pulled or you will essential heat up that pump to near death!  A thermal relief valve is a rather inexpensive back-up that will alllow cooler water temperature maintained in the pump

7.  Recognize that the Hammerhead is an entry level surface cleaner and always keep a spare spay bar, spare nozzles and spare swivel (the brain of the operation) in your tool box.

8.  If your Hammerhead has a zerk fitting, grease it before and after every use.

9.  Sew a bigger pocket in your work pants for the increased profit you will collect by adding a surface cleaner to your arsenal!!!

I forgot to add the prices.

We at PressureWasherProducts.com offer the 18" Hammerhead Surface Cleaner for $270 and the 20" Hammerhead for $315. With that price, you could buy two! Remember to keep spare parts on the rig for potential maintenance or failure.
