Dickies makes shorts that look great and are not stained by bleach. IN Houston they have retail stores but I'm sure you can find them on line. FYI: they have 11" shorts and 13 inch shorts. The 11" are normal and the 13" go to below your knees.

I have used Dickies shorts and long painter pants. They hold up for a long time. I usually retire them from stains, not SH holes.
