Chemical Resistant Bedliner

This stuff is paint on bedliner called Herculiner.  It's chemical resistant, not chemical proof.  It's should stand up for a good while.  When it gets thin you can re-roll.  It bonds to itself well.  You can also use it on wood.  It cost me $70 for a gallon which was more than enough.  It has a great slip resistant grit.  It's very thick and fills up all the nooks and crannies.  Here's the link http://www.herculiner.com/.  I bought it at Autozone.  They also sell it at Northern Tools and Tractor Supply.

Ed I am going on two years now with it in my box truck. I put it in when I bought it and plus it is up the wall 3 ft around, it has worked out really well so you should be happy with it. Just thought I would share that with ya.

Thanks for the tip! I'm storing them all away for converting my trailer in the spring. Saving the floor in a closed trailer is a must!

Recommended by a Thompson... has to be good!

Yes we all have to do something to protect our beds. If you cant do the Hot Spray style liner the Herculiner is a good option.

Ed thats a great product and a great price,I paid $90 a gallon. I used it on my trailer floor, I put a 3/4" plywood floor over the original and then used the Herculiner on that floor. I went about about 3 feet up the wall as well....Two coats took a gallon and a half.

I'll remember that when i get a flat bed going next summer. Is there anything better than rubber mats?

I used some cheap spray on stuff from Autozone 4 or 5 years ago but it started to peel off right away. Does the Herculiner stay on?

Home Depot sells something called Restore.  It may work well as a bedliner.  It sticks good to wood and concrete and is thick.

I tried to get a sample form this company but to no avail, maybe a distributor might have some better luck. Seems like it could be an asset from what I have researched. It is used in landfills and contains jet fuel spills etc. it acts as a bladder and is extremely resistant to corrosion. Any thoughts about this?

There are many different types and uses manufactured by this company. I am sure they would want to only sell on a wholesale level.
