I am going to PWNA at Charleston. party.gif I planned on taking my bike for fun and gas reasons.  I met Don with Brainerd yesterday. Really nice guy. The Ammonyx M is $47.04/ 5 gallons. If there is enough people that want it, I can bring my truck instead. Add $10/ 5 gal. to cover gas.

P.S.
55 gal. Drum is $441.00

$47.04 for 5 gallons of M is very good price.  Where are you getting M at that price?  Thanks.

Charles

That is a good drum price regardless of which one it is.  Is it the actuall steppan brand Amonyx??  or is it an amine oxide from another brand??

I was just curious. I have a barrel of lauramine oxide under the name super suds. The Steppan product detailed as Lauramine oxide under the name Ammonyx lo was much more expensive. The chemist I hired was able to prove that these products were both amine oxide. Specifically Lauramine oxide in the same dilution of water 31% Lauramine oxide 69% water.

What is BC-MAO?

I do not know. That is what Don wrote Down when he was writing down names and prices for me. He wrote  BC-MAO  Ammonyx m

Here is a quote from here on the forum:I just got done using the BC-MAO on two jobs this morning. I think it works just as good as the Ammonyx M. I actually had less run off on these two jobs today, but I am also trying to fine tune my spraying technique, so I'm not sure where the less run off came into play. For the price I'm giong to continue to use it I think. It cost me with shipping 14.40 a gallon in a five gallon pail. If any of you other local guys try it out and decide you like it, I would be open to splitting a drum. Let me Know if anyone is interested.

I'm not bringing any to sell. I am not a vendor nor do I want to step on any vendors toes. If enough people want drums and or 5 gal. containers. All I want is $130 for the gas for truck. So it could end up being much less than $10/ 5 gal. Once there is enough people I will give the go ahead and you guys can pay Don direct. Minus the delivery charge of course.
