PVDF NOZZLES! CHECK THEM OUT!

There are a few manufacturers that make these PVDF nozzles.  The colors make it nice to easily identify them at a glance.  The color is the same for the capacity.  For example, red is a 30.

Please see an example of the colors below.

For those of you whom have already used them, which one do you prefer?

Green one has good distance and not too narrow or wide.

Didn't really find a good use for the red one. Mostly just used the 4030, the green and the zero degree you got me. (what was that number?) I misplaced it though, so I used my xjet nozzle, which worked great too. Not sure which one is better for distance.

I was wondering how the x-jet nozzles would work. We have two sets of the nozzles. I will have to check on the nozzle size, Doug!

Nice Facebook site!

Mine is a size 16 orifice.

Do you sell different sized orifices btw? They are $20 around here.

I think that I sell them for $2 or under. Around $20 ...What the heck? Currently, I only have up to size 40 capacity.

Lori since I didnt get nozzels with my hose..... lol

Im gonna steal the show for a second!

I picked up a garden hose nozzel at our Ace hardware store yesterday just because it looked like it might make a good shooter nozzel. I havent found a picture on the web but its green, looks like a cone, has a shut off switch much like a garden hose splitter.

Im sure someone knows what im talking about. My girlfriend said theyve used something like it to fill water balloons.....

I added it to a 3/4 ballvalve and it shoots as good as the steel nozzels ive been using.

I once picked up a LONG Brass garden hose straight nozzle that shot like a mother rigged with a ball valve.

The chemical eventually eats em out too big, but they can be fun till then, cheap thrills.

You must play with your particular combo, until you find the right combo, for the very best performance.

This one is actually green plastic. Ive thought about using the cheap yellow garden hose nozzels BUT their pattern is wide and erratic. I also like being able to close a ball valve in case I drop it. Id hate for the trigger to pin on the ground spraying love everywheres!

This nozzel I found Shoots a stream pencil thick probably 3 feet from the gun before it starts to spread out.

Its just a cheap, readily available option.

Ill go take a picture.

Roof Nozzel 001.JPG

Here it is. I put it together real quick earlier with parts I had in the garage. The switch on top of the green nozzel makes a good adjuster for range. I put it on the ball valve intead of just the hose because I wouldnt trust that little switch keeping the love from the lawn.....

NOTE: I just grabbed this as I was buying other things in the hardware store. I wasnt looking to buy anything for a nozzel. I just looked like it might have potential. I have not cleaned a roof with it either so take it for what you will.

Before anyone mentions brass and galvanized fittings dont bother.... lol

AND yes Lori thats your blue hose trying to sneak into my picture.
